Africa Book Club accepts orders and payments via one of the following methods. Please note that payments through this site are processed via our holding company, Aalvent Group LLC.
To order an item, simply click the “Add to Cart” button that appears with any product. That button places your desired items into your shopping cart. When finished shopping, click the “Checkout” in the upper right corner. You will be asked to provide contact and payment information. E-mail address and phone number are required in case of any problems. We require a phone number for the person to whom we are shipping an order so we can ensure proper delivery of the package.
Africa Book Club uses the PayPal Pro service – a secure payment system provided by PayPal. This allows you to pay using PayPal or standard cards like Visa, MasterCard and American Express. In addition, we use Secure Socket Layer server software (SSL) to maintain the safety and privacy of your information. SSL is the industry standard and the most effective way to conduct secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit or debit card number, name and address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet. Whenever you see a URL that begins with https://, you are using SSL.
If you are unable to order online, Africa Book Club will process your order offline. Simply send us an email at email@example.com with details of your desired purchase as well as your contact details. A member of our team will be in touch to discuss alternative payment options. Please note that your order may be subject to minimum purchase requirements.
We are required to charge sales taxes (currently 6 percent) on subscriptions and items delivered within Maryland in the USA. Products shipped outside the U.S. may be subject to duty upon delivery. Please check with your local government for rates and import information.
